Get out of SmartGames' “Darn Dungeon”
A superhero, a dungeon and all sorts of obstacles on the way to freedom: The new logic game from SmartGames for everyone aged 10 and up guarantees excitement for clever minds. Because only with planning and skill can the superhero find the right way to eliminate the lurking monster and find the key to the gate. The new SmartGames title will be presented for the first time at the “GAME” trade fair in Essen (October 3-6, 2024).
Which way leads out of the Dungeon?
The superhero has fallen into a dark, rocky dungeon during his adventures. The door to freedom is already in sight, but all sorts of dangers lurk on its mission: pillars and mysterious boxes block the way, an insidious monster wants to be defeated and the key picked up along the way. Only when the superhero is right in front of the gate with the magic key does the drawbridge at the Celtic Gate open and he can escape!
Game setup
A 3D playing field forms the backdrop: A rocky dungeon, pillars, boxes, crystals and a monster are the obstacles that the hero must pass by. It is important to find the right path from various options. The Trick: Instead of Advancing the Superhero, the Player Rolls the Cube-Shaped Figure from Field to Field If it lands on the side with the sign, the hero can even change direction. With clever planning, he finds his axe along the way and then also defeats the monster in the higher levels. The key to opening the gate fits right into a hole in the superhero character and is picked up along the way. If the hero is standing right in front of the gate at the end, the drawbridge opens as if by magic and he has completed the mission.
A task book with 80 challenges in various levels of difficulty, including solutions, is included with the game. The tiles are arranged on 20 fields in accordance with the selected challenge. The aim of the game is to find the magic key and then find the way to the gate. “Darn Dungeon” trains logical thinking, concentration, targeted planning and spatial awareness.
